We’re hiring a Paid Growth Lead to help us fulfill our mission. This is a full-time, remote-first position. This is a full-time, remote-first position. Applicants must be based in, and currently eligible to work in Canada.


High Level

Reporting to the Group Director of Paid Growth, we’re looking for a talented Paid Growth Lead to own the strategy and execution for  Client paid growth programs. We take a soft-eyes (holistic) view of what ‘paid growth’ includes. You won’t just cruise ad platforms - you’ll manage creative, provide CRO recommendations, and think strategically about your clients’ CAC to LTV, P&L, positioning, etc.  This is a full-time, remote-first position, best suited to someone with experience managing 5 and 6 figure monthly budgets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership—You take full ownership of client outcomes and develop data-driven paid media strategies with Director consultation. You ensure clients are using the optimal mix of digital marketing channels while serving as the primary point of contact for senior-level stakeholders—Founders and Execs.
Technical Leadership—You are proficient in paid platforms like Meta, Google, and LinkedIn Ads. You stay current with algorithm updates, platform changes, and industry trends to inform your strategies. You can navigate platforms to troubleshoot, optimize, and execute campaigns effectively.
Account Management—You own project management for your clients via Notion Client Hub, progressing internal and client tasks forward. You balance strategic planning with responsive communication, ensuring exceptional day-to-day execution.
Client Relationship Management—You own the direct client relationship with support from your Director for executive conversations. Your communications influence client decision-making, from forecasting to weekly reporting, and integrate directly with your clients’ internal communications.
Team Leadership—You manage and support the growth of a Direct Report. You represent Flywheel's values as a leader while ensuring your team member's work contributes to Flywheel's OKRs and KPIs.
Performance Focus—You ensure all work on your client accounts connects to delivery of our Brand Promises (Extension of inhouse team, Meaningful growth outcomes, Data into insight). You deliver account insight that clients regularly read and action, focusing on real business impact (conversions and revenue, not vanity metrics).


Qualifications

The right person has 3-6 years' experience or equivalent skills in the following:
  • Campaign Strategy (planning budgets, determining platform, targets, etc)
  • Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max)
  • Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Google Analytics
  • Campaign Optimization Best Practices
  • CRO Analysis
  • Copywriting
  • Client communications
  • Account/project management experience

Bonus points:

  • Experience working with Hubspot
  • eCommerce/tech/education experience
  • Experience managing and developing team members
  • Strong understanding of creative analysis and fundamentals
  • Experience working with creatives and content calendars (e.g. photographer, videographer)
  • Other advertising networks (TikTok, LinkedIn, content affiliates, Snap, etc)
  • Email marketing experience
  • Graphic design or photography experience

The estimated compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, skills, and market location.

Hiring Process

Compensation

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
